We got splashed by dolphins, and the captain went out of his way to take us to a different spot. We only caught one barracuda, but the trip was still a blast. I’d do it 100 more times!

Had an amazing day on the water with Captain GG and Jordan! The day started off slow, but the bite really picked up. We ended up catching 9 Mahi Mahi, a Yellowfin, and a Barracuda. At one point, we even had 3 Mahi on the line at once! The crew was fantastic, and if you're heading to Puerto Plata, you’ve got to fish with these guys. Thanks for an unforgettable day!

Our family had an awesome time! We’re a family of four with kids ages 11 and 13, and both got to catch fish. They took turns in the fighting chair, and the crew did a fantastic job keeping fresh bait on the lines and making sure the kids were happy. The boat was stocked with plenty of water, Coke, and chips for the kids. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you!

Our day started with a surprise time change (ship time vs. local time), but the captain made it easy to adjust. Communication was quick and seamless. He patiently waited for us at the Amber Cove gate, and after a short drive, we were on the boat. The crew gave us a great overview of the day before heading out. We were warned the water might be rough, and while we thought we could handle it, after two hours we decided to head back in. The crew was incredibly patient, managing the lines and taking care of those feeling the waves. Despite the challenges, we still landed a barracuda to end the day. Got some great pictures and a smooth ride back to the port. All in all, it was a memorable day on the water in the Dominican Republic!

We stopped at Amber Cove on a cruise and were picked up right outside the port by the Doña Nina Fishing crew. About an hour into the trip, the action started—we caught Tuna, Wahoo, and even 2 Sailfish! The captain and first mate mentioned how rare it is to catch two Sailfish in a day. We couldn’t thank them enough—they truly run a top-notch operation. After an amazing day on the water, we were dropped off back at the cruise port. The waves can be a bit rough, so be prepared to feel the ocean, but we had no issues. The whole experience left us with memories to last a lifetime. We’ll definitely be back! Huge thanks to Doña Nina Fishing!

We got the excursion from our Cruise the guys were very knowledgeable very friendly helped my son 14 years old catch one of the fishe he's always wanted to catch mahi mahi he also caught a Marlin but it shook the hook out I would definitely suggest this group.

We had a great time Joel and Jeffrey! Carlos set us up with them and they put us on some fish! We went out July 18-19 and had a blast! We caught wahoo barracuda and mahi! We had a blue Marlin hit but missed the hook! They also took us to Sasquatch Beach and we went snorkeling! Good time for the whole family and very cool guys! We plan on doing it again next year! Thanks guys!

A real solid job by Carlos and his crew. They know what they’re doing and the boat had plenty of space for our group of 4 to keep out of the hot sun while waiting for the fish to bite. Caught my first mahi and a couple of barracuda. Including transport to and from the cruise pier makes this super easy.
